ABOUT
VINOBA BHAVE
Vinoba Vidyalaya is started in 1999-2000 in the name of
VINOBA BHAVE because of his good principles. His principles were economically backward labourers and all categaries
children must be studied under same shulter and should get equal education.
This school runs by basice principles of Vinoba Bhave without taking any
donation and has adopted low fee structure.
INTRODUCTION
OF VINOBA BHAVE:
Vinoba Bhave was a great Indian philosopher and founder of “BHOODHANA MOVEMENT” so he was called “Acharya Vinoba Bhave” Acharya was bron
in Maharashtra state, Kolaba District and Gogade Village in 1895 sep 11th.
He was a son of Narahari Shambu Rao and Rukmini Devi.
He changed his track of life after completing his Intermudiate
studies. June 7th 1916 became
the life changing day for him as he met Bapuji the father of our Nation that
day. He went with him to his hermitage and became the follower of Gandhiji.
HIS
LIFE IN JAIL:
Even in jail his mind was not in rest, his mind came across
a noble thought of writing a great book called ‘GEETHA PRAVACHANA’ and this book has been translated to many
languages . He joined hands with Gandhiji for the welfare of schedule caste he
dedicated his life by working with them.
ACHIVEMENTS:
· In 1912 he founded “VIDYARTHI MANDALA” trust with the intension of development of
students by this we can understand how much care he had to the students.
· 13 years he was continuously walked around
the country up to 80000 km’s in 1951 march 8th .
The
reason he went on his foot was that the land to be donated for the poor people.
On his 3rd day’s walk when he went to “POCHAMPALLI” village.
He told in his speech that if they were ready to
plough the land and work hard with unity, he would request the government to
donate 80 acres of land for farming.
By inspiring his thoughts on among the group ‘Mr. RAMAKRISHNA REDDY’ stood up
and
said that he would give 100 acres of land to them.
By this movement he became
the legend of our country.
He was awarded “BHARATA
RATNA” by the Government of India after his death, he is known as “ICON OF OUR COUNTRY”.

Our vision:
1. Vipra Trust aims
to provide opportunities and Facilities to all students of poorer
Section of the
society, weaker sectors and deprived class with out any descrimination to improve their
Educational standard and awareness through this institution.
2. It aims to provide
quality free Education to these children living in our operational area from
L.K.G. level to 7th standard. Further it has planned to extend it to
High school level.
3. The institution has
ambitious plan to promote skill based knowledge among the
Students from 7th
standard onwards to enable them to face the challenges and to help them to
adopt income generating and life supporting activities.
4. The institution has devised special programmes to
incruse moral, ethical and civic service among children to help them to shape
as responsible citizens.
The school:
In
addition to this our Management is running one school at a place called Sominakoppa,
2.00 kms away from Shivamogga City, where there was no school at all at the
time of established during 1999. The occupants/residents of this area are below
poverty line and labour class people and belonging to economically and socially
backward class.
The
Management members decided to open one educational institution in this area and
commenced this School in the year 1999 with the inspiration of Sri Sri Acharya
Vinoba Bhave and with a view to impart education to the rural children. In the
initial days the school was run in a rented Building with 50 students. And thereafter the trust constructed its own
building in the area and gradually the school developed with the active
involvement of the members of the Committee, The parents and The villagers. Now there are 220 Students learning in Kannada
Medium as specified by the State Government of Karnataka all put together from
LKG to 7th Standard and 6th & 7th Standard in English
Medium. Fourteen Staff including 12 teaching and 2 non-teaching staff working in the institution. The students of the School come from the surrounding villages of five Kms which includes villages like Gejjenahalli, Siddlipur, Kotegangur
and Hosur. We are trying to accommodate
Bus facility to the village students. The School has been obtaining the permission of the Education Department from time to time regularly.
The
Management is spending around Rs. 4.00 lakhs per annum towards School establishment
and administrative purposes. The
Management had promoted this school only to provide
the real education to the needy children at lower cost with good quality and
facility. . The total fees collection per annum is around Rs. 1.40 lakhs. The
remaining expenditure is borne by the
Management . The Management with a view to help the rural students is providing free uniforms and note
books and others this has been working as impetus and encouragement in developing the school fast. The
Management has invested
Rs. 9.76 lakhs towards the fixed investments in the said school out of corpus
funds and internal generation.
The
Management is facing financial crunch to all future
plans to develop the school to adopt all its ideas as a full pledged, self reliant
and quality based institution with all basic infrastructure facilities. The
board is appealing all wellwishers, philanthropic and lovers of education to lead their
helping hand towards this endevour. It
has drawn up the following programme and approximate fiscal requirement to meet these ends.
Appeal:
It is evident that management which was
started to promote the interests of the members of the community has taken a
challenging and noble task to help and serve the members of deprived and poorer
section of the society. Though we are economically poor, we have found fulfillment
in serving the poor and the uncared masses with commitment.
With great pleasure we learn that your
esteemed institution is also lending support to such noble cause. The board of
Trustees will be great full and feel privileged if you could recognise
our commitment and concern with your benevolent help and support.
We request you to consider our appeal favourably
and support the cause.
At this juncture we would like to place on record the extreme timely fancily aid provided us by a benevolent social and educational international origination viz.Xchanging System. The officers of the system had visited our school few times and were highly impressed by the multifarious activities of the school. They were more pleased of the educational progress amidst rural boys and girls. We have been graced a total finance assistance of around Rs.8 lakhs during 2011 and 2012. We are hearty competed to spend the entire sum of assistance for the alround development and educational imparting better education to the students only and not for capital investment like buldings and lands. We dont realy have words to greet the Xchanging Systems. We look forward with eager and earnest for such belevement persons and intinos in and out said our nation.
